... starter, but now the engine wants to stay asleep despite turning over sluggishly. (facepalm) So much for getting it up and running for tomorrow, looks like we'll be having some quality spanner time instead of enjoying some dry roads. :x

At the time it was heart stoppingly beautiful.
It still looks DDG 20 years on IMHO.
However (sorry Duke) I now prefer the looks of my 675.
The true test, I guess, will be if my bike still retains the same impact in 20 years time.

748 is on a rear stand as well but doesn't need it. There is no way the bike can fall over. Yes mine is the Thatcham one and i chose it because it looks very hard to break the chain when threaded through the metal tube especially if the chain is relativity short and doesn't lie on the floor. It ...

... the quacks and they confirmed it as a spider bite !! The drain is in the garage but close to the house and theres a rad on the opposite wall ... looks like I disturbed a spiders nest when I was clearing the drain. The hand is still swollen and itchy but not as bad as it was on Sunday morning.
