... have enough talent to ride it like he does, its still all relative. Matt Wildee, PB editor rode it today and got into a short conversation with him. Asked him if it was more fun than a Panigale, he reckoned its a different kind of fun - This has more grip than power whereas the Panigale has ...

Out of retirement ?

Not unusual to see him about testing/riding different bikes, it is however a little strange to see him in the full liveried leathers

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

It sucks.. he saved the highside then went onto the grass and the tankslapper took him off. I wasn't watching at the time as I was about to get out on track but apparently he backwards rolled multiple times, got straight back up then fell to the ground.. he only ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Yeah exactly.. he took me to my first trackday too and was keen to get me racing with him in an Endurance team but sadly, on that very trackday he crashed at 120mph on the kink at Pembrey and hasn't been the same since - he was in hospital for a few days with head ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

He quoted me less but didn't realise there were going to be so many valves needing adjusting so I asked him how much it actually cost and paid that. I assume he replaced some and swapped others over. He does get shims cheap though, he worked on my SV650S previously and did ...

Re: Advice for buying a bike privately

Thanks for all the input everyone. Just been for another look and it seems very clean. I'm going to test ride it Saturday morning and then all being well pay off the finance myself and pay him the remaining balance. Saved myself £1000 over dealer price!

Re: In, out or shake it all about?

Boris is very intelligent, a lot more so than Cameron, which is why Cameron tries to keep him on side.

Boris reminds me of that form of kung fu where they pretend to be drunk so you think you're dealing with an easy target. Don't fall for it.

One car did have finance on it, so I got him to get a dated payout letter, then had two bank cheques drawn, one for the finance company and one for him. I delivered the cheque to the finance ...

Re: In, out or shake it all about?

I see that the news is hammering on about “Boris” today. IMHO this sounds like a ploy; They are setting him up as being staunchly Out, but he will “carefully consider” & then, due to “the concessions Cameron has negotiated” will announce that he thinks we should stay in ...
