Re: What you watching?

Well not the bloody GP!

It was scheduled on TV here at 4-5.30am, I start work at 6am so set my alarm for 4am to watch it. Should've just got the extra sleep and now I won't see the last half :(

Tyres, the great debate

I thought I would continue the discussion here rather than hi-jack Rocket's thread about his new bike. I can tell the difference between tyres. I can tell when the pressure is too low or too high, or when the tyres are going off. The only way ...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Well I don't feel so bad for not running on the treadmill while I've been out here this swing now... I borrowed a Fitbit charge off a friend and thought I'd see how much ground I cover in a shift. Now today was a tad busier than normal but I have plenty of days ...

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Rather than continue hijacking the Mr Postman thread I thought I'd start a new thread here! Thanks for all the support - tried out the new wrist splints last night and they did seem to make a bit of a difference. I managed to get a better, if not perfect, night's sleep ...

Here you go Rocket, spend 150 more and have a set of discs and wheels complete.

One set for winter / damp road conditions and another for sunny days and track days.

Ebay item number.

Re: Tankslap Meeting Places

Met a lot of slappers (one's from here not the other type) at this Cafe on the A49 near Whitchurch.

Always been popular with bikers and a good meeting point for breakfast before heading into Wales for the day.

Good explanation here Rocket. Must admit I thought the same in that it would be rich until I researched the subject a while back. Why does a lean running engine have a tendency to excessively pop? The exhaust gas temperature of a ...

Being clever on here doesn't take much :D

Metzeler are part of a much larger group, so they can afford to stick to one mode of transport.

Tyre Quiz

Bit of fun here (giggle)

Without googling the answer. Who is the only tyre manufacturer in the world who excuslively produces motorcycle tyres.

The winner has the exclusive right to claim themselves the cleverest c**t on tankslap for the rest of the day (lol)

... by about 20% from the m5 and I didn't personally find the m5 very sporty. Looking for a good reworld appraisal of them tbh. I very much want to here how Rocket rates them and would value his input as he rides the same roads at a similar pace on a similar bike to me.
