Excuse the ignorance, but is there much of a difference when you're working on shore to off shore, or is it a case of getting your head down and working the same way? I guess it's different for everybody, but mentally I find it a huge difference. ...

Think everyone have given good points here mate. Definitely get someone with you and ask for ID if they don't accept the very basics then walk away. Private can be a great way of buying but it also has its downsides just have your whits about you mate.

Same here Kwacky - the main issue is, despite being not that far away (as the crow flies) it takes at least 4.5 hours to get there. That's an awful lot of driving to be doing for a single day
