Re: Brexit thread

Hopefully, the market (can't believe I'm saying that) will sort itself out. The thing with renewable energy is, you can't store it (in any great quantities yet) and you can't generate it exactly when the market needs it. It's very much in the renewable energy company's interest to sell it when ...

... intentionally polarised, for the sake of argument alone. Furthermore, playing devil's advocate on behalf of a view that you do not hold also has great merit. :? Granted, however, these defences seem unlikely mitigation in Gove's case.. Consider me well and truly "told" . (clap)

Re: Triumph Speed Triple RR

I like that a lot., but the white doesn't work for me.... that's just white bikes in general though.
Looks like a great blend of naked, retro-modern and just plain modern sportbike.

Three thumbs up! (y) (y) (y)

Re: Weekender - 10th-12th September

What is it about a viaduct that catches our awe? They're stunning! Great snaps, Frankie!

Re: Weekender - 10th-12th September

Just got back, absolutely knackered, but what a cracking few days.

Great company, good food, amazing roads and only one “lack of talent” moment.

Best of all, nobody died!

Re: Test rode a BMW F900XR

Good write-up. (y)
That colour looks great to me, but then again I'm not the one buying it.
The big gold XR decal lacks subtlety, but I suppose it ties in with the rest of the scheme.
Sort of.
I guess.
Looks like a winner overall though.

Re: Getting the Mrs on the Back

Jess rides with me regularly, the multi is a great two up ride, and with all the panniers we’ve used the bike for weekends away together when all the kids are at the other parents. I only have a single seat on the Thruxton so that’s my solo ride ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Great shout.. except the Wife will be home with the little man.

When I get home I always take him for a bit to give her some down time. I just love his ever-earlier bed time as I can get to sleep at a reasonable time.

Re: The cycling thread

Great ride on Friday at my mates local.. awesome trails and did my first super steep 12ft roll in.

Today I found a couple of hours to get up to my local. Was super relaxed and ended up going really quick. I just had a hoot.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... As I get close to Warwick the traffic is building up so I peel to Stratford. Then down towards the Cotswolds. There's a massive festival on. Great. Loads of closed roads, diversions, traffic lights and tail backs. So I decide to give around Worcester a try. Just as bad 130 miles in just over ...
