Re: Fasting diet

Try these Duke, I lived on them when I did an exclusion diet and to be honest prefer them to bread now. Great with any curry or Dahl and 100% veg and protein.

Re: Dukiti Cafe Racer...so tempted

My mate dave russell (the stunt rider) has one with a bussa front fairing and duct tail attached. He seized it on the way home from a group ride along the Great Ocean Rd.

It's a 'for shits n giggles' thing.

Also seen them doing track days at Phillip island!

Re: Leaving a bike parked in gear

Yeah, it's great. £20 a month. Robbing gits. Two of our other offices have to pay so they reckon we should have to as well. Thing is, the other offices use someone else's car park, this is our own. More penny pinching at work. ...

... though before a corner. A lot of times you only touched the brake, it barely took any speed off, so you know you don't need to do it. I had a great day, despite the weather early on. Thanks for sorting out the route, much appreciated.

Still, it got us to Stamford and stopped for a leg stretch. After that we went our separate ways ...

Re: 2016 BMW S1000RR

Like anything maintenance is the key to reliability. The problem from what i here with Aprilla is great bikes, shit dealers. I agree I think Duke was unlucky They changed the spec of the engine bearings on 2008-on motors. I tried contacting Aprilia Italy direct at one point ...

Re: Budget tax increases

I don't understand the car tax part? So if your paying 20 or 30quid road tax now in a couple of years the lowests emissioned cars will be forking out £140 quid per year in road tax!? And I also took a quick look and the insurance premium tax is going up too...so insurance prices will rise, great!

... there was much difference. Had it for a full day and loved it, the handling was amazing, it felt tiny like a 250 and just leant and leant forever. Great bike and definitely worth a test ride.

Re: My next rocket ship

Maybe boring is the wrong word, as it's a very capable 600, but it's not engaging like the kwak or the 675.

The daytona is a slim so sit on one first. You might not like it. Otherwise it's a great handling bike and the triple engine gives a kick lower down.

Re: My next rocket ship

675 is a good shout.

If you're getting the zx6r go for the newe 2009+ models. The R series is more of a loon and probably better on the track than the newer 636.

CBR600rr is a great bike and I loved mine but it isn't the most exciting of rides.

Rickster some of us have discussed doing the speedway day again. Its great fun and a good way of learning to feel the bike slide.
