Re: Rode these.

I know your testing adventure bikes so this is a bit of a wild card choice but have you considered testing riding a s1000r ? Would be very interested to here your opinion as it's getting rave reviews and the active suspension I believe ...

Re: ZZR1400 anyone and thoughts

What about a BMW GS, Ducati Mulistrada or KTM Adventurer ? All good quick bikes with out being warp speed enabled and good two up.

Shropshire Wednesday Night Bike Meet

The Wheel in Worfield stopped accepting bikes on the regular Wednesday night due to the locals complaining of the noise etc which wasnt an issue as the Swancote soon cottoned on and ran the gauntlet doing the Wednesday meet which turned out to ...

Re: ZZR1400 anyone and thoughts

Fair enough.

Well if he's the pilot then it's his licence. (devil)

In all seriousness you'll be hard pushed to find a better two up tourer in that range. There are bigger bikes or more tourer based bikes but all of them do silly speeds.

Re: ZZR1400 anyone and thoughts

CB1000r is a great bike but I don't think it would be very good for 2 up.

Don't you want to go on your own bikes?

Re: Headstock Paddock Stand or Abba?

The Harris headstock stand I have has different attachments for different bikes. There is a chance one particular attachment may fit both bikes that you own but cannot be guaranteed without checking. Perhaps give Harris performance a ring. Even if your not planning ...

Re: Headstock Paddock Stand or Abba?

Like the idea of finally having the Abba, but it will be useless on the CB1000 I also own. The ghost bikes paddock stand looks like its going to be a little flimsy too. Anything further suggestions to headstock stands? If I buy a headstock one I can use in both bikes then.(and ...

... here as a quite a few are refugees from the now defunct daytona600.org site, although a good number of the D600 owners have upgraded to other bikes since, hoping to myself if I can ever get my POS back on the road.

May Day run

Went down to Hastings today for the May Day run, I think it was something like 32,000 bikes last year and had to be about the same this year, handed out loads of TS cards so hopefully at least a few new people will sign up, but anyway here are some photos of the day, ...

Re: Perkle's new bike

... being twitchy. I can't give it a 10 as I didn't really go for it. I'm usually hard on the front but I wouldn't ride like that on some elses bikes. Brakes - 6/10 Very soft at first, lacking initial bite then they kick in but not much feedback. I wouldn't want to use them at the front unless ...

Hi Alan. Thanks for signing up. Sorry to hear you're related to Cavetroll :)

Nice mix of bikes.

There are rideouts throughout the year. I'll update the events section as they come up.

I do like those 955is. They sound great.
