You can do loads to older bikes to bring them some ways up to date, new tyres are a good example, if you want something easy go for a Honda 400/4 or maybe and earlier kwak like a GPX or something, some things to bear in mind though are ...

Oh I know. I managed to steal a couple of hours out in the jag yesterday without wifey (devil) Bank holiday in France and no-one on the roads o/. What a machine!

I suspect its the cars you need to watch out for at the Ring.

I'd take the car but not the bike. Too dangerous with too many people and faster bikers on it.
