Re: Test rode a BMW F900XR/Stonesies next new bike

Collected it and rode it home, it's missing a couple of the "nice to have" bits like Dynamic Pro mode and tpms but I'm a very happy bunny. I didn't want to wait for a brand new one next year.

Just waiting for the exhaust to cool down before I fit this.

Re: The Daily Post Election Politics Thread

... Fwiw it seems to me that, like it or not, we have a government that reflects the state. Our bubble has finally burst, and it can't be that long before the blinkered egotistical populous look up from their (tablets/ mirrors/ mobile phones/ fast food, etc,, ) and realise that, actually, the rest ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Next step is to wait until my next week off and get my 4 days training and test done on class 2. It would be a huge leap of faith to quit my current job before I can move on to HGV's

Re: What are you doing today ??

Looking at cheap cars, online pictures hide a lot of paint damage as it turns out so I put a deposit on one that I wasn't even considering before. A Black Citroen C4 90hp diesel... It should be bangernomics at it's finest.

... https://i.imgur.com/PFhSYQt.jpg But on the M18 back to the dealer as I only had 1 hour, my back started aching, I've never had that on a bike before. It is a long reach to the clip-on bars with no easy way to adjust them, my sprint tilts my whole body forward so it's a short reach despite ...

Re: World Politics Stuff (not brexit)

I wonder how long before the elitist/monetary system that holds power everywhere tries to crush these ideas?

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Yesterday rode it best part of 200 miles to the office. Today, spent the morning slinging it round the peak district before meeting a load of slappers and headed to Yorkshire

Re: Brexit thread

We also have little manual labour now we no longer import it. Young Brits don't want to do that sort of job.

Interesting that Germany had already decided that doing less trade with the UK was in their interest, well before last December.
