... and either it's not quite as good fit as the old one or I hadn't fitted it on securely. Anyway it flipped off and I did a few pumps of the lever before I noticed. Brake cleaners was to hand and sprayed on straight away and the pads were out in less than 2 minutes flat before getting a good clean. ...

I reckon it's got at least another 2,500 miles in it, if not more

I'll take a look at the rear at the end of the month and decide if I need to change it before France, but that's got a lot of tread left in it.

I've got carbon ones on the zx6r which work IMO.

Before that I used clear adhesive tape similar to the stuff Cav recommends.

After bouncing the bar off my knees a couple of times I soon learned to slow down.

Only 60kg done for 5 sets of 8, will get used to the form before I go much harder.

I'll definitely start at the higher end (25/15) to see how that feels before I progress anymore but this should solve my issues with using all the suspension travel. ... I believe mine was in the calliper as it was the only thing i did not replace for a working or new item. There was no visible leak. i Wrote it off before i could fix it :-P

... moves. Ride it round the drive - looses pressure until you pump it a couple of times. Move off again - no pressure. Anyone seen anything like this before. I've bled the lines within an inch of their life - no air. Any ideas fellas?

... the front callipers, new pads, replace brake fluid, Scrap chain and replace, new sprockets. Well i got this done today, I've never changed a chain before, I've always taken it somewhere. What a ball ache putting the new chain together - those fiddly o rings wouldn't stay still while i lined up ...
