Re: The new improved fitness thread

Of course, I was thinking more recent but definitely not something you can move forward from quickly. You've just gotta do what you want to and feel like doing.. sorry again for your loss.

Re: Getting the Mrs on the Back

My wife went on a CBT course and hated it. She'll never ride a motorcycle again.

Re: Test rode a BMW F900XR

Good write-up. (y)
That colour looks great to me, but then again I'm not the one buying it.
The big gold XR decal lacks subtlety, but I suppose it ties in with the rest of the scheme.
Sort of.
I guess.
Looks like a winner overall though.

Test rode a BMW F900XR/Stonesies next new bike

... in the hilly areas whilst keeping pace with Sergio on his V-Strom 1000, he really does treat that thing like a big supermoto. They did get better again as the ride progressed as I occasionally gave them some hammer. The engine is quite tappety sounding, all 3 demo's they had were all the same ...

Re: F1 Red Bull v BMWM1000RR v Porsche 911 Turbo

That Porsche will dick all over any ordinary rider on any bike on the road. It will do 0-60 in less than 3.5s no matter the surface or launch control.

I would like to see the race done again with the lowest downforce for the F1 car

Re: Silverstone GP

How was the day overall? Did the weekend. Stayed on the golf course. Won't stay there again as way too quiet apart from you can hear the bands playing on Woodlands where the speakers face the golf club from about half a mile away. Sleep was impossible until they finished. ...

World superbikes

Currently worth watching again.

Toprak on the Yamaha and Redding on the Ducati really giving Rea some competition now.

Really close hard racing.

Re: What are you doing today ??

Taken a quick break from teacher duties and just got my first jab.

Dr wants me to get my second before I leave again. So only 5 weeks between shots of AZ. Said due to my exposure with travel it was preferable. He got his own 6 weeks apart.
