Re: Chilly ride to Wiltshire

At work so unable to watch the video - for the moment at least.

Riding certainly clears the mind though, I need to get riding again soon but I'm hoping off finishing my bike until next month because I have too many deadlines with work and uni. The bike is too much of a welcome distraction!!

Took the battery out yesterday to give it a good old charge, fitted it again today and fired it up in the garage to make everything smell manly again!

Fired up no problems and sounded gioooood!

Wsbk Philip Island (Spoilers)

Just enjoyed wsbk race 1 (rock) dam it's good to see some racing again. Great to see 3 different manufacturers on the podium. Whatever the regs in wsbk they work perfectly as the parity between bikes is as good as it could be. PI is a quick track and there ...

Re: Weekend plans

Tonight, more wine than I should be drinking :D

Tomorrow will be not feeling w quite so good due to aforementioned wine, but will probably involve trading the kids out.

Sunday will be spent sorting the bike out, I really don't fancy cycling into work again.

... I think the fluid is shot as I can use the front brakes by pumping the lever and it hardens up, but then 5 secs later the lever has no pressure again. I'm going to buy a load of parts next month and then spend a day or two sorting it once and for all I think. It just needs a good refresh now.

The bike feels nice and tight again, the chain isn't on too tight (an issue I've had in the past from a dealer) and the oil level is spot on. New brake fluid as well. The bike hasn't ...
