Re: Project ZX6R
New Bendix pads are in.
I've done a quick bleed of the brakes but they're still spongy. I'm starting to suspect it's the after market lever. I've heard of people having similar issues on other bikes. So either I go back to stock or I switch it all over and put the Beringer on.

... minding my own business. As the lights changed this Seat arrived and floored it. Fair play he could shift. There's an 80 degree right hander just after the lights so I had to wait for the corner exit before I could really pin it and leave him behind.

You and your dad went for a ride recently. Did you go to any popular biker meets? I'm sure these places are watched. My cb1000r went about a week after I went to the Ponderosa. There were a few non-bikers there walking around the car park. It could just be co-incidence.

It's brand new lines and reservoir, so I doubt there's a mix. I've bleed from both calipers and the master cylinder.
I'll sort it. I think it needs a couple of goes after use.

Duke, that's what I'm thinking. Use it and force the air out. StMarks, I have had the same in the past. This bike has an after market lever but it's the same master cylinder. I have got a spare aftermarket m/c but I'm not sure if I want to fit it. I'll see how the brakes are after ...

I brought a set of aftermarket levers for a bike once, and after fitting them I noticed that the bake was spongy. I proceeded to strip down & rebuild the master cylinder ...
