Good write up rocket nice to hear you like it and would buy one. I think it's in my top 3 of bikes I would likely change to after my current one to be honest

No, we don't need just standard exhaust sounds, so if its got a louder/different exhaust then great! Yes, I can pay some expenses depending on ...

... fling IMHO. I take a very similar approach: If it is dry and relatively dust-free then I will just reapply lube (when required) when I get back after a ride. The chain is warm therefore slightly expanded so as it cools the lube becomes trapped. If it is wet or dirty then I will clean the chain, ...

I got home after 1hr30 in the gym then decided to go for a run. I'm no runner so this may seem terrible to you guys but I was hurting all over. I managed 20 minutes ...

... it sat low. and looked in decent condition the tyres were not great and slightly squared off. Setting off down the road it did not feel great. After just getting of the Zx10r it a bit felt cheap. Any bumps were bouncing the bike around and it felt a bit unsettled. The bike had brembo calipers ...

... starter to turn the engine over.? Eventually something would have to give, perhaps a valve.? I've got to admit this is my big fear. Immediately after the crash I was very unhappy at how the bike didn't want to turn over. It 'felt wrong' somehow but put it down to ignorance/paranoia. Talking ...

I haven't asked about the ZX6R. I've lost interest at present. I'll worry about it after France.

Get a day off itchy. I'd love to mate, but it won't wash with the management. The day after is Cosford Airshow, and for a week either side of it there is a total leave ban on camp. So I may not actually be working on the Saturday as yet (I have to wait and see) but ...

Re: What the duck have I done to my bike?

On the ZX6R the tilt sensor allows the bike to turn on when started but will shut it down after about 5 seconds.

Sounds like it's blowing to be honest. Have you checked the spark plugs are all seated etc and the exhaust is connected properly?

Also, does sound like a triumph to me ;)

Re: What the duck have I done to my bike?

I'm not sure about how the tilt sensor works on the 675. I presume that stopped the bike from firing after the crash but was reset. I was thinking if the sensor has a fault or was sticking that could cause the issue. You've checked all the wires you can access including those ...

What the duck have I done to my bike?

As you may know I dropped my bike at Oulton recently and it wouldn't start afterwards. Initially the symptoms were of a dead battery. When the starter button was pressed the engine would turn over once then just stop with a click. I thought it strange as couldn't ...
