Just seeking opinions, what do you reckon I'd get for the exhaust and then the quickshifter?
I'm not going to bother to do the quickshifter if I'd only get £150 as I love it too much!

Re: lean angles?
I can get my knee down if I really stretch, but given the lean angles I'm getting it shouldn't be a stretch. Which says to me my body position is all wrong or I need to do some yoga. I wasntt saying you couldnt get your knee down, but thinking that a school designed to help people do that will prob...

Re: Motobatt Batteries
I've have them on three bikes this year. They're da bomb unless you're going top top top of the range race batteries in my view tbh.

Found the instructions for the exhaust so I'll be needing my mate to help out for that. Also the quickshifter looks simple enough too. Next Sunday will be a busy day.

Very good idea I'll check both sites. ThanksGodzilla wrote:Have you searched the Akrapovic website, they usually have instructions on how to install their systems on place of OE ones, so it would be more or less a process of working through it in reverse.

Removing Akrapovic Exhaust and H&M Quick-shifter - RC8
Morning peeps! So, you may recall my other post about maybe selling the RC8 due to the costs of a house extension, well, if i can off load the exhaust and quick-shifter i may not have to, so I've decided to remove them and sell both items. I'm going to speak to the original owner as he is local, alt...

I thought Keith over talked Julian a little too much personally. Yet it's been 15 years since they worked together I believe so it'll take time to get the groove back I suppose

Well I thought it was awesome all round. Yes Mel doesn't know bikes, yet WE all started at zero too remember? Yes, Cal didn't want to talk, yet it's Neil Hodgson FFS, he's a world champion and not afraid to get the answers we want to hear. Overall a great show and a real improvement to Eurosport whi...

Re: Decisions Decisions
that bike is super low mileage for 4 years old spud... i would be dubious buying that.. However, we have just had a small overhaul on the house, cost a fair bit, and am skint now. I was going to buy an RC8 or S1000rr instead, but spent it on the house. The house looks nice, but i can't ride it. I w...
