Re: Another Malaysian Airlines Crash

A jet like that provided the missile can get to that height, is a sitting duck. It has none of the trick gizmos that a fighter has, none of its manoeuvrability, and I doubt seriously if it has the ability to detect incoming missile. Having said that it takes a serious bit of kit to reach 30000ft. Al...

Re: Another Malaysian Airlines Crash

Current theory is that it was seperatists who thought it was a Ukrainian transport.
For seperatists to take down an airliner at ~30000 ft they must have been supplied with some pretty heavy shit.

I think the shit will hit the fan on this one.

Re: Do you remember your first ride?

My old CBR6F shortly after I passed my test. Picked it up on what must have been one of the most windy days ever, gingerly rode the thing from Wrightington nr. Wigan to Southport, crapping myself all the way. I did have some fun on that bike, but in hindsight a bike with about 100bhp on tap may not ...

I was kind of hovering between triumph675, sportsbiker(I think that was what it was called) and D600.org, but not really posting much on any of them when I came over hear. Liked everyone I've met so far.

Re: One of those calls

Glad she's on the mend. My parents have both been a worry over the last couple of years. My dad had stroke about a year ago which affected his speech very quite badly, at the time we thought we might lose him as he had a nasty infection shortly afterwards. He has recovered a lot of his speech, but i...

Re: Joke of the day

A priest offered a Nun a lift. She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to reveal a leg. The priest nearly had an accident. After controlling the car, he stealthily slid his hand up her leg. The nun said, 'Father, remember Psalm 129?' The priest removed his hand. But, changing gears, he let...

Re: You might say it was a large pebble

I should be getting it picked up middle of next week, will know if it can be repaired or needs to be replaced.

RAC picked it up but said I was not covered as it was a potential write off, so had to pay for it, thats one membership I shall not be renewing.
