Re: Shock absorber bushes, where do you get em ?

Thanks pal, they're a bit of an awkward size and I'm struggling to track them down, just spoke to Polybush who reckon if I pop down they may be able to knock some up for me, fingers crossed.

Re: What bike as project?

You can do loads to older bikes to bring them some ways up to date, new tyres are a good example, if you want something easy go for a Honda 400/4 or maybe and earlier kwak like a GPX or something, some things to bear in mind though are things like fuel tanks that may no longer be available and so ar...

Re: Ethanol

The classic bike mags have been talking about this for a few yrs now, its particularly good at wrecking tanks, problem is any chemical will create problems of disposal as well, I worked in the waste industry for 10 yrs mostly on tankers but also as a process operative on a waste recycling in Preston...

Re: First post...bit of guidance?

I recently bought some Oxford soft panniers for a now cancelled trip, 50 ltrs and expandable from a relatively small size, depend how long youre going for, I can get a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat and bits n bobs in there, dunno where you're based but you can always pop round and have a look/bor...

Re: Stew's painfully slow Z650 project

I think at the heart of this whole argument though is that its an Islamic practise to slaughter the animals in a certain way, apparently its quite close to Kosher in the way thats its done and of course we're pre supposing our abbatoirs are all above board, one minute you're watching Peppa pig with ...

Re: 1983 Honda CB1000 Custom

Its good innit ? I find half the fun of doing this is the research, tracking down obscure websites in Japan etc and scouring Ebay for some part that you reckon only you knows the worth of and hoping to god someone desnt beat you to it, once mine's done I think I will be looking for another, not sure...
