Re: Removing Akrapovic Exhaust and H&M Quick-shifter - RC8
Have you searched the Akrapovic website, they usually have instructions on how to install their systems on place of OE ones, so it would be more or less a process of working through it in reverse.

Re: lean angles?
I agree with a lot of what you said St Marks, but I guess there were other factors that came into play rather than just riding off the edge of the tyre. As said above on modern tyres its hard to run off the edge. I didnt and the belly pan was scraping. http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t90/Godzilla...

Re: lean angles?
Agreed, aftermarket rearsets will help, as will body position.
If it helps, I got my belly pan down last time I was at Anglesey and didnt run out of tyre.

Re: Accident on the mountain.
I agree Duke, mainly the other guys fault, but the slow rider pulls out to overtake, then his brake light comes on. So I think he has to take some of the blame.

Re: 3 miles down
Water can be compressed. Not as much as other materials but compression does take place. The human body may have a large % of water and fluids in it but the structure holding the body together can only cope with so much. Without that framework in place there isn't going to be much left. This is 3 m...
