Re: FAO Duke

They had one of those on the Harris stand at the NEC a few years back. They let me pick it up. It weighed nothing.

Re: Liquid gasket sealant

Cheers mate. Sounds like good advice. Its complicated a bit by having to ensure the water pump impeller is fitted to its drive correctly. Tried a few times dry to make sure i have a decent chance getting it right first time.

Liquid gasket sealant

Anyone got any tips on doing this? I have some to refit the alternator cover to the crankcase on the 748. Want to do it this weekend but can imagine a right mess being made everywhere if i'm not careful.

I'm guessing its better to apply to the crankcase rather than the cover i'm trying to refit.

Re: Shed felt

If its glued on properly before its probably going to be difficult to remove. I would glue over the top if that's the case.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Took the Multi for a spin. Since the throttle and map upgrade its an absolute animal. Had to add some preload to the rear to stop it squatting under hard acceleration.

The R is a much better looking bike with the red subframe IMHO.

Even managed to spin up the rear on Cookies new 765 on Thursday in the damp. That has Rosso Corsas too.

£540 for a 4 day trackday at Portimao in November with JHP sounds VERY tempting. Includes everything bar the flights.

Would you have room for Cookies engine protectors if I dropped them over? I can post them if not.

Re: Cookie's Street Triple 765 R

It's a lovely bike. Handles, steers and pulls beautifully. Will be a handful when run in.

The finish is top class too.

Feel privileged to have had a ride on Cookies one day old bike. Thanks mate.
