Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Cookie, a friend's son has been applying for jobs in London for some time in his chosen profession. He got a 1st at Uni. He has finally got a job doing what he wants. His contract states he is employed and paid for a 40 hour week. He may be asked to do extra hours at any point for which he will not...

Just a thought... how about she pushes the envelope a little bit and applies for the job rather than an internship with an extended probation period? That way she is getting paid (win for her) and is very likely to get the full 3-6 months experience which, if she does get laid off, means she has mo...

Internships.... Seemingly for some companies the best way to exploit kids fresh out of education. Our youngest is a clever kid and is now finished at Uni and looking for a job in London. She's applied for many jobs and they keep throwing the experience card at her (she's just out of uni FFS) so she'...

Re: Formula 1
Lets hope. Problem is the manufacturers still hold a lot of the cards regardless of who owns it. It could be great. It used to be before there were too many rules - I'd like to see them get rid of loads of them and let the teams innovate. I'd also want cars the drivers can thrash for 70 laps rather ...

Re: What you watching?
I watched the Guy Martin thing on C4 last night. I get the impression they're struggling to come up with ideas. That was pretty boring. That program was so padded out. The bits with the simulator were setup - they had already tested it themselves, decided what was wrong and sorted the problems. Plu...

Good race
I watched the F1 afterwards - what a load of crap compared to MotoGP. They could learn a lot.

@kwacky and @rossgo cheers fellas, the good wishes did the trick. Signed a new contract and have notice on my current contract today. I've got a weeks notice to run and then I'm out of there (party) Works really nicely with the IoM trip, which is now going to be a destress and chillax trip before s...

Amazing.
As I always say to our kids - you can do anything you want to do in this world, you just need to get off your arse and go get it.
He's clearly driven and you should be rightly proud. You never know, it may lead to great things![Smile :)](./images/smilies/emoticon-0100-smile.gif)

Blimey Perkles. Not good. I hope they find something definitive as that at least will show a treatment path for you.

Prior to Blade's comment I wasn't entertaining the idea of changing bike. I'm still not, but this bike just came up on Facebook at CMC Cannock... http://www.cmcbikes.com/img/bikes/57c2c498322545.20586435-57c2dfb65c602.jpg?w=900 http://www.cmcbikes.com/used-motorcycle/2012-ktm-1190-rc8r-for-sale-57c...

Re: Photo recovery
I'd be quite pessimistic about this one. As it's security software they tend to overwrite the whole card when they encrypt. How long did it take to install the work software? If it was quick then it might have been a lazy/quick format of the card. As has been said - replace the card with one your no...
