Yes i had around 5cm of slack where the manual states 2-3cm preferred. It's going in on Friday so i will ask them to check it just in case.Kwacky wrote:Really? Very little stretch on my 675.

Re: Cookie's Street Triple 765 R
Chain tension sorted over the weekend - it's surprising how much a new chain stretches. Much better now.
I've also sorted the first service for first thing on Friday so i'll be taking a VERY long way home![Big Smile :D](./images/smilies/emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif)

So we take it you're not missing the RSV? Only on dual carriage ways when you want to get a wriggle on. I miss the fairing. Apart from that, nope. It was a good relationship with the RSV, we did a lot together, but the time to change was right. Same with the RC8 - i miss the power but only onto lon...

Very expensive, but if it's going to keep you dry and guarantee that it's probably worth it.
How long do you expect it to last / whats the guarantee.
It does look nice.

Dealer is not back off hols until Tuesday for a service but said it'll be fine until 1200kms worst case, so i've carried on going :) Refitted the mirrors now i'm happy with them (one was very stiff) and moved the gear change lever slightly further up to accommodate my big feet. He seems happy with it. I'd have done more planning in terms of alternative routes - the Alps can be very unpredictable.
That bike delivery service looked brilliant. I fancy an Alps trip on the Street![Smile :)](./images/smilies/emoticon-0100-smile.gif)

I can see me making the change one day, next 5 years no, but look at bikes like the Energica Egos, The teccnology is getting closer and closer and more within reach of normal people. 30 min quick charge and a range of 93 miles, they are getting there. http://www.energicamotor.com/energica-ego-elect...

Re: Austrian GP
Lorenzo apparently used to much fuel in the first few laps and ended the race with 60ml left. Does look like he is getting to grips with the bike now though. Interesting as the commentators thought Ducati were fuel saving so they could turn them up at the end. I really don't like racing that restri...
