Re: What ails you today?
Saw the Dr yesterday. Most likely COVID, but not bothering to test, combined with multiple infections in different parts of my body.
Antibiotics now being taken and I have the day off sick.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I got fed up with feeling crap, so after an afternoon snooze, took the KTM out for a pootle. There's one byway near us which is 2km long, so decided to use that as a quick test to get used to the bike off road. It does feel a little strange turning off the tarmac, but it is fun. Re: What ails you today?
Well, I slept my way through most of yesterday and then a solid 7 hours overnight. I had a banging headache, sore throat, and generally felt shit when I went to sleep. I woke up feeling exactly the same. I've already fallen asleep twice this morning, so looks like today is another write off. Sent fr...

I read that John Redwood wasn't standing, I'm sure there was a cheer across the whole area.Kwacky wrote:3 Tory MPs this week have so far announced that they're not standing in the next election, including John Redwood.

Re: What ails you today?
Side effects of over excursion. I've been light headed, had difficulty focusing, hot and cold sweats, including feeling so cold I was shaking and my teeth were chattering. I'm going to blame a combination of tiredness, dehydration, and blood sugars being all over the place. I'm finally now starting...

Re: Rattling the charity tin
Nice going mate. It's a shame about the rules for hot food. That doesn't make much sense, did they say why hot stuff was banned? The boss said it was something about VOSA rules, but the guys in the van said it only changed a few weeks back as they had a really messy group that trashed the van with ...

Re: Rattling the charity tin
So the write-up. I expected it to be tough, but oh my god. I've done some endurance events in my time but that absolutely takes the biscuit. A little bit of background that will make sense in a minute. Reading on their website they said they carried cold and hot water to make pasta pots, etc... for ...

Rattling the charity tin
Backstory, my dad had a heart attack just over a year ago and was very lucky to survive. Unfortunately earlier this year my sister-in-laws father wasn't quite so lucky. I decided a couple of months back to do a challenge to raise some money, and that date is now nearly upon me. On Tuesday I take on ...

Re: Work
So this news came out yesterday https://amp.abc.net.au/article/103852218 I got a call later in the day. 10 positions affected offshore, out of around 500 staff on roster. I got a golden ticket. My offshore days are done. Seems my OIM kept his word and secured me a handshake. Still a little in shock...

They are good, my PT tortures me regularly with one.
He also uses something like this, not exactly comfortable and leaves a nice bruise, but really does relieve the tension in my neck and shoulders.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Sorted the insurance for another year. Found out my shed is classified as secure and it has an alarm so that made the insurance company happy. They dropped the renewal by £100 to just over £200 fully comp, so decided to check a multi bike policy to include the KTM. Nearly fell off my chair when it w...
