Re: Garage / Motorcycle Security
Won't that also flat spot the tyre if you don't keep taking it in and out to keep the pressure points changing regularly?

Re: Garage / Motorcycle Security
Cheers for the comments and advice. @D6Nutz - Thing is with the SP the insurance will not cover its true value as its worth well over double book price and thats why I really don't want it going missing. In comparsion the Blade has got about a £1500 of bling fitted which is not the end of the world...

Re: Garage / Motorcycle Security
TBH mate, the SP2 is quite a specialist bike and I don't think it would be a target of an opportunist looking to make a few quid of broken parts. If the SP2 was to be nicked from the garage then I would guess that it's nicked to order, if this is the case then they will probably come equipped to dea...

Re: What would you do?
I nearly always sit on the bike, not because I can get a drop or two of extra fuel in, but because I'm a lazy barsteward and can't be arsed to stand next to the bike.

Re: Retro
I played around with an app called FPse for a while when I had a Windows phone, they've now ported it to Android. Basically it's a playstation emulator, if you "own" a ROM file for your favourite playstation games you can play them using the emulator. There are plenty of instructions on th...

Re: Parcel delivery
Royal Fail and Parcel Farce are truly the worst delivery services you can get.
I ordered some bits recently from China and the Netherlands, both managed to get the delivery to my door faster than most royal fail deliveries.

Re: What would you do?
Generally I don't really get asked to take the lid off, but I wouldn't be too fussed if I was asked. It only takes a few seconds. However, at a pay at the pump I wouldn't be quite so cooperative. The point is you secure payment before you can draw fuel. Therefore you cant ride off without paying, so...

Silver is the best for hiding the dirt. My D6 and all the silver cars I've ever owned can testify to that.

Spent this morning shopping, had to take the little nutz's but it wasn't too bad. Spent the afternoon painting the outside of the man cave.
Now, knackered, and relaxing in the sun with a nice cold cider.

Re: Removing tyres
I was looking at this recently. I wanted to get a part worn to carry me over until the M7's where released. A local tyre place was going to charge next to nothing to remove and fit the tyres so it worked out cheaper to do that than buy anything.

Re: Scrubbing in Tyres
I did scrub in my last set of tyres in the wet.. I thought there where two parts to scrubbing tyres in. There is the release agent that you can see on the tyre, that can be scrubbed off as soon as you feel comfortable enough to do it. Or as the place where I did my bike training did, just do a burno...
