I have been speaking to a lady called Amy at the BBC today. They are going to be doing a piece in the near future about motorcyclists not wearing the appropriate riding equipment and will be accompanying the Police who will be pulling riders to advise them of the importance of wearing the right kit....

Some of you I know choose to wear textile jackets rather than leather. Some of you may be thinking about changing your textile jacket. Have you or are you considering an airbag jacket? If you are thinking about a new jacket, and if you are thinking possibly of an airbag jacket, then have a look at h...

Re: I D Cards
But you're not required to carry your driving licence with you. No your not I agree, but if ID was incoporated into the driving licence it would only be a simple rule change to make carrying your licence compulsory and it would be no more of a hardship, in fact it would be one less piece of plastic...

Re: I D Cards
Don't need it IMO
One of the reasons that the photo licence was introduced was to eliminate the need for ID cards as most of the country hold either a provisional or full licence and most information required is contained within the licence anyway.
A couple of simple additions and issue sorted

So if there are any smokers...

Yes mate, you're old ;) Thanks.... Rub it in why don't you? ;) :D That said, if you have not ridden one in the past, don't knock it until you have tried one. When I started riding the original GL1000 had not long been launched. I laughed at them all those years until I got to ride one and it totall...

I was in Doble Honda in Coulsdon who we work closely with earlier today having a natter with Rob and Phil when Rob asked if I had seen the new Gold Wing yet? Re: Post crash legal requirements
You need to tell your insurer as well, as soon as you can. It is not a legal requirement to notify your inurers usually just a compliance issue under the terms and conditions, but even then if you are making a third party claim, very often they do not need to be told until the claims process has st...

Post crash legal requirements

So, I thought people may be interested to read what their lega...
