Re: Riding the icons: Suzuki RG500
What a gorgeous machine, even now. I don't half miss the smell and sound of two strokes even now. It all reminds me of April 's at Oulton Park watching the Transatlantic match races Sheene, Roberts Grant, Mamola et al, chasing round the pits for autographs. …… jumpers for goal posts….…

Re: Joyda Leathers
Blade, given the extent of work it's a good price and they will be good as new. A lot cheaper than new ! Anyway old leathers that are moulded to shape are worth their weight in gold ! Next time keep it rubber side down L OL

Re: Clamp down on illegal exhausts
Putting resources into finding an illegal exhaust will save lots of lives and prevent many serious injuries I'm sure. Tw@s What a crock of sh!t ! It's so easy to focus on a minority group. Min input max output. Completely wrong set of priorities. As a min I reckon 99% of bike riders pay all due tax...

R1 brake upgrade
Have had standard pads and hoses on my R1 since new, initial braking was ok but prone to fade. Recently fitted HEL hoses and EBC HH pads. What a difference ! Two finger braking all day , no detection of fade on fast runs. If you run on standard brake gear all I can say is for relatively little cost ...

It was an 05 in green, brand new, it was a fantastic machine loved every minute on it. The crash was my fault not the bike , it was written off which is why I now have the R 1
