Re: Kwacky's 675 Street Triple

The single biggest problem with Yamaha brakes is the factory pads, specified to last ages and be kind to the discs... EBC EPFA380 is what i fitted to the MT-10 (calipers look the same as the 09), good improvement from cold but once they get warm they're good enough to send my head funny without too ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I fitted a USB power socket near the ignition barrel as the factory 12V socket is a bit fussy, every plug or adapter that I have tried looses connection within a mile, and the Garmin does not switch to internal battery without tapping the screen so usually I miss the countdown and it turns off (usef...

Re: Kwacky's 675 Street Triple

What a little bundle of sweet joy that bike is. It's ideal for days like today. Quick enough, excellent handling, strong brakes, pretty good quality suspension. The tyres were spot on while it was dry but I had another massive rear spin up in the wet as the rear stepped out at the same time. Thankf...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Bought a new end can for the bike over the phone, LeoVince carbon... I could have got the stainless for £40 less, but there's something about carbon fiber.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

If ordering parts and talking to people counts than I did stuff, if not then I just looked at it. I ordered a K&N air filter from opie oils, talked to jordan bikes about remapping and which mods are worth doing, and am hot on the trail of a lightly used LeoVince decat and a set of AIS blockoff p...

Just driving about (work) and a quick trip to the gym... Then finished yesterday's dinner with roast lamb sandwiches... If the weather plays ball then i might take the bike out after work.

Just be careful on track, they can run out of ground clearance (Barn corner, Cadwell Park on Metzeler Z8's) Awesome fun though and way better on fuel than the current steed... http://scontent.flhr4-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/11232225_10153573551463436_1344483322448992539_n.jpg?oh=b1358dc79c9fa95a84154...

Just got the shock of my life, my gaffer granted me those days off so if you've room for another then i can tag along.

Im supposed to be paying off the credit card but fun is more important.

Re: Weekend plans

Tomorrow's plan is a pt session at the gym, going on the bike as the trainer keeps saying I don't look like a biker... Then probably a ride.

Sunday, dinner in Cumbria with friends, bike or car depending on the weather.

It's going to be a year next month, 4500 miles of smiles so far and not a single problem except its appetite for fuel and rear tyres.

Re: What are you doing today ??

Yeah they're getting common lol but for very good reason.

All mine has taken to get me to trust it is a suspension set-up and a set of decent front pads (EBC EPFA) and naturally a decat exhaust from Delkevic.

That cruise control is really nice to have.

Re: What are you doing today ??

Found my way back here again and having a good browse. At work today and had a long dinner so spent a good hour in a local gym. Banishing the bus drivers belly. As for bikes, my current ride is staying for years because its like my old STR but more comfortable and faster... MT-10 in black, i think i...

The kwak is the most interesting, will be nice to have a good look at one but wouldn't buy it unless I win the lottery.... How can they call a 1299 a litre bike?

I found something similar not too long ago, school kids stringing the tape out of a VHS cassette across a 40mph road because "It's summat to do innit" I took some pleasure of untying it and throwing it away un-snapped...
