Re: Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review

Mistakes happen in a busy workshop, it might be that your oil leak required parts that got used on another unforeseen failure and there wasn’t time to reorder, it might be the guy slated to do it was out sick that day and the trainee did it, could be any one of a variety of reasons. Thing is it’s th...

Re: Pinch and a punch

Another one I do is volume- it has got to land on an even number especially when I'm driving - bad luck if its on an odd number! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk I do this with the cruise control, there’s a couple of sweet spots where the mph and the kph are both at even numbers. I think we’re ...

Re: Brake Disc Info

I can only assume the alloy is slightly different on the HPK, maybe better wear resistance or conductivity, and the added mass is better at absorbing the huge heat transfer on a track when you initially hit the brakes? Or is it a better race life on track, if it starts thicker, it’ll take longer to ...

Aquaman. (rolf)

Aspects of it shamelessly stolen from (in no particular order), The Abyss, Tron, National Treasure, Pirates of the Caribbean and Pacific Rim! Plus a soundtrack that alternated between cheesy disco and Hans Zimmer, jeez, what a hotchpotch.

Tuneboy is a piece of software that with a paid for key, you could load or alter your bikes fuelling/ignition map, I’ve used it on a couple of bikes and it’s an easy to use piece of kit, but it’s a powerful tool, which can, if used incorrectly, destroy an engine in seconds. TuneEcu effectively does ...

MiniGee and Mrs Gee spotted the lad, I missed it though because I was looking for Nick Fury, but they confirmed he was “the friend of the Mechanic”. As for Loki disappearing with the Tesseract, MiniGee who is a huge geek for the MCU explains it thus, as it’s in a different timeline, it’s irrelevant ...

Sometimes being a Dad really sucks, not the same as Byron and yourself I know, but I spent 15 years being the thing that my ex threatened my oldest with when he didn’t toe the line behaviourally, our relationship suffered accordingly, but sometimes you have to be the stick. All I would say is, now y...

Had a lazy morning, but cooking up a load of soup for tonight, for after we get back from Endgame. We’d have eaten out, but as it’s the last game at Ipswich of the season all the restaurants are rammed, so it’s eating at Chez Gee tonight.

Having said above that I’m not superstitious, there are a couple that I’ve had my memory jogged over, although I’m not sure if they’re superstition or accepted custom? They both involve gifts, if I should give or receive a knife it should always be accompanied by a small amount of money - so the kni...
