An excellent Rioja Crianza with lunch and a Calvados as a digestif. Feeling at one with the world atm.

Re: What are you eating ??
Roast pork lunch, with the usual suspects, loads of crackling and glorious tasty gravy, apple crumble for pudding and a handsome cheese selection as our in-laws were with us. Feeling a bit f’lup now.

Saracens vs Gloucester, cracking quick game played in a high temp (for rugby), they’ll be absolutely hanging at 75 mins.

Re: Brown soot...
Just an overhaul and re-spring to your weight will dramatically change the bike in my experience, it needn't cost a fortune either.
Nothing like some Gucci bike bling though.

Re: Mr Postman
My new Cheese Geek gift pack arrived yesterday, c/o Mrs Gee at Christmas, currently enjoying the Tunworth, which lives up to its tasting notes completely (apart from the cabbage, but I’m not missing that tbh). :P C57E97F1-EB7F-4597-A8FE-468F18625C42.jpeg https://www.thecheesegeek.com/" onclick=...

Re: Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review
The example for me was the first time I went to remove the fairings - and found the cheapest and nastiest fasteners holding it together at the centre seam. There are dozens of small economies on the bike, which for me was crazy, as I wasn’t that concerned with price when I bought it, but it does mak...

Re: Brown soot...
£400 is a lot for a minimal improvement, might be worth it for a track addict, but for real world biking you'd see more bang for your buck by spending it on suspension imho.

Re: Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review
This conversation bears out my own findings, I’ve had four Triumphs over the last 20 years, the first was a T595, well built and well finished, the next oldest is the Tiger, much the same quality of build and finish, the next was my first 675, which was not of the quality the other two were, the las...

StM is the boy to ask iirc (as well as bb41!), nags are not my bag baby, but I’m fairly sure he’s a regular horse rider.

Coincidentally I bought “Sane New World” by Ruby Wax earlier this year for Mrs Gee, she rates it highly.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
I can quite believe it Kwacky, MiniGee is currently doing his GCSEs, if I include the oral exams he’s already done he’ll be doing 32 separate exams, which is ridiculous. Over the last 4-8 weeks he’s being getting increasingly snappy and short tempered with us, it’s obvious he’s under a huge amount o...

I don’t really have any superstitions, just weird OCD habits. I’m not going to even start explaining them because you all think I’m weird enough as it is (lol) Weird enough to have a car like this, or weird enough to have nightmares about it? 793E7611-4CA8-4970-A96E-7E6C894610AC.jpeg https://www.bb...
