Never heard of it?? If it's what I think it says, you've got to deal with hunger as well as sleep depriv...

Re: My day at Oulton- with crash pics

Only just got to this thread, awesome set of pics, shame you had to off to get them thou'! But it sounds like your crash protection did it's job and you didn't let it ruin your day. Just like Itchy said, I was so pissed the photographer missed my end over end crash. If you're going home with a crumb...

StM, the business was American owned, however the entire Emea slice of the globe was run by the French (a company that the Americans bought out and were then left in charge), they screwed the business up and the MD in the States stood by and let them do it, worldwide it prevented product shortages ...

Re: Mid Week Mid Wales Run 6 th August

What if we do an afternoon tea and cake rideout ? That’s a tempting proposition, but I just realised I still don't have a road ready bike yet. I knew there was some problem with that idea. In all seriousness Bratty, since I've knocked over the track bike hurdle with the missus, my next goal is to g...

Out here we have to do a PMP (Performance Management Plan) annually in which we nominate 5 goals that align to the Business Units objectives and 2 Personal development goals. We have a mid year review and a end of year interview once you have uploaded your achievements into the PMP. Along with that ...

Re: What's Your Mileage

Daytona has 48,000 kms (30,000 mi) on it. I've done 40 km each year in the last 3 years. That's putting it together enough to ride down for rego, then back home and pull it down to carry on fixing. Before that I was doing just on 10,500 km (6,500 mi) annually on average. It'll be a lot less once it'...

Re: The beginning of the end for cigarette manufacturers?

Think how much the NHS would save though once smoking was removed from a generation. Plus add in all the lost work days from smoking related illness. Its a no brainer that the country would be better off too eventually. Imagine how much more efficient the workplace would be if smokers weren't poppi...

I guess although it seems a ridiculous idea from our perspective, it's actually a step up in safety for the target demographic. Now they just have to convince them that a step thru' is not a family sedan.

Not that I've found, there were a couple of them on ebay, but no sets and not the size I need. the track/race forums all only seem to have slicks going.

I get what you mean Gozilla, would I be fast enough to get an advantage out of slicks pace wise... absolutely not. In fact I'm even considering dropping down a group from where I used to run due to being off the bike for 3 yrs and going back on a completely different beast. Over here we run 4 groups...

Re: Track Tyres

Just be wary about slick tyres, they are more susceptible to heat cycling, and unless you are pretty quick wont really benefit from using them, or maybe even be able to tell at all. I would suggest SC1 or 2 (or the K1 /2 ) If you do decide to go slicks I would avoid the 'PRO' version. Yeah I unders...
