Re: Weekend plans
Working the weekend, so taking my oldest scuba diving today at the lake. My wife is welcome to join us if she shows any interest in changing out of her pajamas and getting off the phone. That was my first choice Blade, but no one we knew needed it. Tried to give it to the bush fire recovery crowd, but they turned it down saying they had too much stuff. If the people don't pick it up today, I'm taking it to the local Vinnie's.

Rode it to get MOT a few months back, and they felt fine, but I didn't go real hard. Still 1/2 - 3/4 life left in them, so I plan to use ...

Re: Dainese One Piece Waterproof oversuit in Black
TBH I have personally had good experience selling to bikers but had terrible and similar experiences when selling baby / child items to the general public. So much so that we now don't sell baby / child items on ebay and would rather give them away to people who genuinely appreciate them. I'm talki...

Re: Home brewing kits (beer)
I've brewed off and on for 20 yrs Mac. Pretty easy once you're all set up. Biggest points to a good beer even from a standard kit is sterilisation, a constant lower temp for fermentation and bottling at the right SG. And the biggest point, don't drink it too early! Some kits say drinkable in 2-3 wee...

..Can't bargain with a fellow tight arse kiwi thou. Had it on the trailer, handed him $5K cash, said 'so you right with an even 5?' He looked straight at me and said, '5,2 is the price, no skin off my nose if I take it back off the trailer'. !! IMO a good deal is one that benefits both parties mate...

Re: Weekend plans
Hardest bit for me would be not hitting the bar at the qantas lounge while waiting for my Sydney flight. In fact, I'd rather take a few extra days to swing around than give up a drink post 3 weeks dry!! I did avoid caffeine all day on my travel day and that did seem to help. I even fell asleep on th...
