I like the engine braking on a twin - i barely brake with the lever tbh and it helps me flow into corners without upsetting the balance of the bike too much. What is it you don't like about twins? After the Multi I'm a full on convert. Nothing better for the road than a large capacity twin imo.

Though my only experience is 250 two strokes, single cylinder 4 strokes, the D6 and the Multi. So rather limited on the road.
