Don’t drink light Tonic, the additive is worse for you than the sugar. Just put in more gin to reduce your sugar intake!D6Nutz wrote:Tanqueray 10 and fever tree light

Re: Racers autobiographies.
Ive read Whithams, Foggys, Guys and enjoyed all of them. Whithams probably being my favourite. I gave up with Hutchys, just found it was written so poorly, I like the bloke but he writes like he speaks and that just didn't work imo. A really good bike book worth a read is "that near death thin...

Re: Racers autobiographies.
Read Aaron Slight’s, signed copy.
Doohans
Casey Stoner
Guy Martin
Barry Sheen (biography, very hard read but interesting)
Enjoyed them all for different reasons, but Guys is my favourite. Plan to get some of his others.

Re: what's your favourite type of cafe?
I've yet to find a dedicated biker cafe that does decent food. To be honest I'm not into the social side of biking. Turning up at a biker cafe, going on massive ride outs, Ride to the Wall and sort of stuff - no ta. That one I was talking about Kwacky, is more biker themed than biker dedicated, and...

Re: what's your favourite type of cafe?
yes i guess mcdonalds are a known quantity, the same throughout the country so you don't get any local ambience. recall stopping at one in some remote part of south wales, in a really exposed position on a hillside, near the top - somewhere near mountain ash i think. had all the charm of some kind ...

Re: End of days
unfortunately NZ had always been plagued by earthquakes, and one day the dice will roll the wrong way. I experienced some big ones in my time on the shaky isle, the worst one I was in the sports field at school and watched a wave rolled up the rugby field and about 80% of us fell over. My dad being...

Re: what's your favourite type of cafe?
Most of Jess and I riding is to either pubs or cafes, unless it's a trip away to a location for a weekend. We prefer smaller cafes with good coffee and homemade/wholefoods stuff on the menu. Our favourite is a new Cafe in the Blue Mountains called Caffeine and Gasoline. Really awesome bloke owns and...

I’d be interested too! Loved those cars when I was younger, we got all the British cast off in NZ before they started importing used jap cars in the mid 90’s. I had a 1964 Mk 1 Cortina as my first car!! There were heaps or euro cars too, Lada’s, Fiats, Alfa’s, VW’s etc.
