Re: The Big C ......

Tough times Spudda and I hope they are soon behind you. My mate had a brain tumour the size of a visit last year, it's been a difficult journey but very fortunately his last 2 scans have been completely cancer free and he is running the Manchester 10k in a few weeks. Stay strong mate hopefully thing...

Re: That C word again

Kwacky is it possible he could take nutrition on in a liquid form ? There are some great products out there. Just a suggestion. I know its not ideal but may help with physical strength and energy levels also possibly assist with blood pressure I don't know.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Kwacky the main reason for considering them is I need something that will give reasonable mileage but I want decent dry grip as a priority as I don't ride all year or when wet really. A quick warm up time would be a bonus. I know I know I want my Cake and eat it (blush)

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Sorry Nutz I didn't realise you had them and from your opening comment I thought you were explaining the sales blurb.

So how do you rate there dry weather grip ? I would be particularly interested to hear how quick they turn in and what the drive is like coming out of a corner.

Taking the kids to a local petting farm and stables. There some duck ponds, a park and a cafe too. As its walking distance from house down the back lane it will kill an afternoon easily.

Re: What are you doing today ??

Well I didn't know that. Every day is a school day. Although I can see the reason for such policy it does penalise people who are sick whilst on holiday. Personally if I was sick on holiday I would phonenwork cancel the holiday and go on sick leave with a doctors note. Saying that I have not had a s...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I wouldn't personally class the m7 as super sporty though Nutz and that's my question really. How sporty are they ? I know they focus on mixed conditions and predominantly wet conditions but a lot of reviews say they have plenty of grip which I didn't really understand as they have increased the lan...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Roadsmart is not really a sports tyre though Spudda, its a road orientated sports touring tyre. Dunlop's comparable fast road tyre to the m7rr is the sportsmart.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I hear a lot of good things about the m7rr but what I can't get me head round is how heavily treaded the front tyre is for such a sporting tyre.

Very much look forward to hearing how rocket rates them on his gixer.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Sometimes saving it for another day is the best way, Blade. I've been out this afternoon even though i didn't feel 100%. Just went for a ride round the lanes in Staffordshire. Sometimes i quite enjoy that, stopped for a bottle for water in the sunshine and then headed back all at a fairly sedate pa...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Turned it around. Headed out into Derbyshire but traffic was too busy, I was too hot with too many layers on, wasn't gelling at all with the ride and knew staying out would be probably be a bad idea. Did the sensible thing and turned it around. Now enjoying a glass of wine in the garden with my fami...

Re: ZX10R Review

OK guys a quick up date on the mods and I reckon you may be surprised with the results as I was. The best mod by far was the one which was effectively free. By making a shim from some spare alloy I had knocking about I have improved the gear change from agricultural to extremely positive and smooth....

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Got back on the bike for the first time since being knocked off and knocked out a few weeks ago. It went OK, though I was pretty nervous with the amount of braindead mongs with their uncontrolled kids and dogs in Cannon Hill Park. I decided that the roads should be pretty quiet on a Bank Holiday Su...

Nice shots as always Jack.

Agree with Kwacky the second shot is ace and really captures the closeness of the racing.
