Good point Duke. What he did in qualifying in Austin was the best we have seem of him IMO. For a 22 year old to have the presence of mind and composure to handle that pressure and still deliver sets him apart for me. Apparently Stoner did approach HRC and offer to sub for pedrosa but Nakamoto knocked Casey's request back. Reason is they will only have him back if he can fight for podiums and with out a set up and his old crew chief Christian Gabarini working with Jack Miller, Nakamoto didn't see The Casey offer ...
