Re: Sunday 17th May - Wales Ride out

I reckon if we meet Kwacky and co at 11am and depending on whether we roll straight out or grab a quick coffee at McDonald's Newtown we will be at Crossgates for 1130 or 1200.

Sounds like you need to take the chance whilst you have it Duke and stay out as late as possible.

I agree with Perkles tbh.

I know you have said the next sportsbike will probably be your last and I also know home much you love Ducati and appreciate the detail and kit on there top spec bikes.

You only live once and its too short. In for penny in for a pound I say.

That's very true unfortunately Nutz. Driving standards in all areas have generally dropped IMO.

Absolutely stunning one of my favourite bikes ever edd1e and in the best colour scheme too. Nice one mate.

It almost seems stupid saying enjoy it as I think it would be impossible not too.

I will be at the Raven for 9ish and leave no later than 9:45am if you want to meet in Newtown at 11am which is what I think you originally said.

Like Perkles as long as not raining I a definite.

Just found some black anodised alloy bolts in my spares draw so fitted them to the tinted screen on the ten, looks much better now.

Re: 2015 R1 Review

R1 is selling like hot cakes and must be based on all the hype and reviews as you can't get a test ride anywhere.

I guess people just want the latest and greatest all the time, and nothing wrong in that if you have the coin.

Re: GMP unmarked HGV

Seems to be an increase on forces using umarked vehicles.

I've have recently heard of a silver Busa operating in Derbyshire and a crack down on small plates and noisey cans.

Re: 2015 R1 Review

I reckon it will have cut in and you didn't notice mate, which is exactly how you want it IMO. Its extremely smooth and the only way I knew was the light flickering. Extremely good system IMO. Yes the R1 aids are confusing. Tbh I find the ten quite complex and in comparison its a very simple and use...

GMP unmarked HGV

Greater Manchester Police have been carrying out a covert operation on bad driving primarily on motorways. They have been using an unmarked HGV to spot people texting, and reading etc.... At the wheel. The high up position of the HGV allows the observers to video people using there phone on there la...

Re: 2015 R1 Review

Perkles I'm still unclear what you mean by full tc but if you have it on setting one you won't be riding liking a pussy as it, according to the manual allows "lengthy drifts and wheelies possible when exiting tight corners". If you have on setting 3 it kicks in " early enough to preve...

Re: 2015 R1 Review

Just read the handbook Duke, yes the sliding scale bat graph under the gear position indicator shows how much tc has been deployed. Mind you if your looking at that when drifting the rear your asking for trouble IMO. The yellow warning light also flickers on and off and it was this I saw out of the ...

Nothing yet. Was hoping to get straight out on the bike after I had took the kids to school but been raining all morning which was not the forecast or plan (headbang)
