Mail order no problem or maybe ask a local dealer to price match.

There's a guy just down the road that does most of my work (Gary from the bike base or GS Tyres - two names same place!) He usually beats many other places for tyres around the local area. I'll prob give him a call and see what he can do. But £130 seems magic to me for a bloody good tyre

Haha sorry getting way of topic here! I can't deny the mileage is exceptional and with the fact it's a mis of all different type of riding in all weather's just adds to it. Makes you think though what will be next of the evolution of tyres!

As I'm on the zx6r at the moment I'm back on these tyres, with a new front.

Loving them in all weathers, they really do make biking in the crap weather worthwhile. No issues at all.

They don't come in a 170/60/17 rear do they? I have searched but found nothing.

Unfortunately not Tony, I ve just checked the Metzler website for you.

Hopefully this link works and should show pretty much all tyres available from all manufacturers in 170/60/ZR17.

There a good company as well and would happily recommend. I ve had 3 sets of tyres of them this year and never found cheaper anywhere and tyres are always recently manufactured 2015 stock not old items as many cheap tyres are.

Rides like tonight remind me how good these tyres are. Hard braking and the front is solid. There's a couple of left handers I use getting on the motorway and I'm doing the same speeds in the rain.

Two 100 degree left handers with 20m between them first one rises and second drops. Both are one car width wide and have 6 inch high kerbing to them to prevent people switching lanes. Both have a camber and are used by HGVs.

If you want to show me how to take them faster give me a shout. I'm free all weekend.

I would have thought it quite easier to go quicker in the dry there's more grip available.

The last time we were on the same bikes riding the same piece of tarmac this happened.

But by all means tell me I should be doing two corners you don't know using tyres you've never ridden at a much faster speed in the dry.

I simply thought it was common sense it's possible to go quicker in the dry. You obviously didn't get the gag (blush)
