There's a youtube clip doing the rounds on the tinterweb showing a crash on the Cat&Fiddle which I guess most people have seen.

I heard the other day the Police were throwing the book at him. Has anyone else heard anymore on the story ?

No I could either mate.

I was talking to a guy at the MOT place the other day and he listed of about 8 offences he was being charged with, stuff like, dangerous driving, endangering other road users, not taking due care and attention.....not sure on the facts but sounded like he was facing prison

I saw that vid a few weeks back. He deserves everything he gets.

His riding is utter shite, causes an accident, crosses a solid white line and then is stupid enough to post it all over the internet.

Agree with all the above, poor riding in the extreme, however I suppose there is an irony in the fact that if he had set up his youtube account properly, he might actually have made a few quid out of the 880,000 hits he's had. Maybe even enough to fix his bike. Or pay the fines..... :S

From what I gather, you "monetise" the account and be a "YouTube Partner". A popular clip can generate advert interest and the advertisers pay YT per hit I believe, but it's fractions of pennies, their goal is to find the next "Gangnam Style" or "Harlem Shake" where people post and watch hundreds of semi pro clips, pure advertising gold as its viral and in demand from a target audience.

Please feel free to correct me folks if someone knows more.
