Bought a new machine - Triumph Street RS 765

So I am now the proud owner of a Triumph again. Took the new Street Triple RS for a spin and liked it. Originally went for the red one, however after seeing the Cosmic Yellow one in the shop, I changed my mind. I just love the Black and Yellow scheme, I now have my very own transformer (BumbleBee) lol.

None of the photos I have seen of this bike in this colour do it justice. Hopefully I can try and get some nice shots at some point. Not today though... nipped out for a quick run to, well run it in. caught in rain, muddy puddles all over the place.... A clean bike did not last long.

No doubt I will add to this thread in due course, most likely once the 1st service is out of the way. I can the give a true report on how I think it feels and rides.

For now, I love the looks, the sound, it feels light and agile. I forgot how much engine braking you get on a triple compared to an inline 4.
The dash is simple to use, easy to see. The switches are all easy to use, even with thick gloves. I have already moved the clutch lever as I like mine below my hand if you know what I mean, not right in front, makes my hand hurt after a while. So that's that sorted.

The bikes standard bars, levers, all feel great, wont see the need to bling those up, full up and down shifter, smooth box. I did get the heated grips fitted, they seem to be working very well, tiny switch don't even know its there, and the status shows up on the dash.

I will obviously whip off the tail unit and get something less sticky outie. I will get a tank pad, I forgot about that, and the last thing I want to do is scuff up that with a zip. Other than that no need to any extra bling (for now lol)

So for now, 60 something miles in, I am smiling 8)

Thanks to Bull Dog Triumph in Wokingham for an excellent service as always.

Can you get a radiator guard for it yet?

No, I would have done that right away, one of the 1st things I fit. However other things like tail tidy are standard fit like previous models, but the rad on this is slight bigger so I am told. So previous models dont fit. As soon as its available I will fit one.

Also under the seat there is a nifty USB port, handy :)

That bike sounds incredible and I kinda miss my old 675 R.
I had a look at my preferred supplier of farkles and they are out of stock of radiator guards for the latest Street Triple (Evotech) but should have them back in stock soon, they know it's a popular bike.

Most agile fun bike I have ever ridden. And mine is 4 years old.

Enjoy, Frankie. Knowing how you like twisty undulating roads I have no doubt you will.

Oh, that's nice. Very nice indeed.
Congratulations.

I love the colour, BTW....if you'd have just told me about the colour I probably would have thought "God, that sounds awful!!"...but seeing it makes all the difference....it just works.
