That thing makes no sense at first glance. The aero effect would tend to lighten the front.

Edit: so from a quick read it seems they want to load the rear to aid in the braking phase. While it would have thy effect I would imagine the benefits would be out weighed by the negatives elsewhere. I hope they don’t add any advantage because they are ugly as hell

agree but the engines power output have outgrown the tyres and suspension by a large amount, you cant stop technical progress though

If it wasn't for people trying aero stuff out then there wouldn't be any kind of bodywork/fairings at all.
That said, that thing looks like crap.

Edit: The Heineken approach shows promise.
