This Government are so stupid they don’t seem to understand that either people dont have money to pay for this level of energy charging or if they do, it’s money that will not be spent elsewhere in the economy. Absolute ****.

That would be like when the government bailed out Northern rock in the hight of the "financial crisis" and tax payers where expected to see their money back with dividends.

From memory it was only the top management of Northern rock and shareholder's that came out with bonus dividends fun that agreement.

This Government is so far removed from reality and so deeply backed by the very rich elite that they have no idea on the reality of life for many nor what devastation is about to be unleashed on the economy by the energy price increases.

The new rates from October are due to be announced next week.

18 months ago my energy bill was £135 per month.

From October it will be £513 if i use the same amount of energy.

Where the **** do they think people will be able to magic that money from?

The economy is about to crash and burn like never before.

Lets hope it leads to a GE next year.

It's the knock on effect. People won't have money to buy things, to go out, go in holiday, feed their pets. Businesses will have to increase prices at a time when there's no money, so they'll fail, creating unemployment.

But that's the standard path. This time we have a new path which is much more painful.

There is an entire generation, if not two, that have been living on credit and finance for years. As that dries up people defaulting on agreements will sky rocket as will personal insolvencies. The companies will lose a lot of money trying to recover goods etc. None of these people have any savings to fall back on so rents won't get paid and landlords will lose money trying to kick tenants out and recover losses.

It's a perfect storm that needs the powers above to control, but they are not affected by it so don't see the need or just don't care.

Part of all of this feeds into the conspiracy theory about the 'great reset'.

I dont believe this is all a big plan - its incompetence, bad luck and greedy agendas. There are some who say its all a big plan to reset economies and remove the current money supply from us all so we have to have a new system and we accept it because we are all desperate. I can see why some people see that. The current mess isnt helping dissuade anyone.

However - i do feel the system is going to crash at some point. Money is supposed to have a value - its been over inflated, over loaned and basically printed for the last 40 plus years.

This is the beginnings of the economies around the world thrashing around to stay afloat. They will crash. Its just how much that is the concern.

Biggest mistakes of the last 40 years - globalisation and credit easing.

Before this if one part of the world had an economic collapse, other areas had not. Now if something goes bang, we all do.
