Are you having a random 'Kevin Turvey moment', Duke??? :D
I believe it's also in the lyrics to an old soldier's song/chant.... for the life of me I can't remember which war movie it was in.

The Child Catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang scared the sh!t out of me when I was a wee bairn. Still does, come to think about it. Creepy fecker.

He's right. You know what's chitty is.

A double chitty was extended leave so they used to use them to go to Paris and party with the ladies.

Whilst that military slang is correct . The car that Fleming based his book ( a child's version of "Bond" type story, written for his son Casper) the magical car was named after Louis Zborowski's 1920's racing cars.

My Dad took me to see one of the movie cars when I was a little kid... it was on display at a car dealership in Sunderland, Easington, or Peterlee...or some other hillbilly place like that.

It seems that the castle that appears in the film is the same castle James Garner & Donald Pleasance fly past during their Great Escape. Then they crash-land.
