I just bought another bike
It comes with new Pirelli diablos,are these a normal road tyre if so any good ?

Yes they are road tyres but sound like the original diablo which was a current tyre about 10 years ago.

I would check for cracks or splitting as rubber being a natural product it degrades and hardens over time.

They must be corsas the bike is only 3 years old

Corsas are OEM on the bike you have bought. Good in the dry. I changed mine for metzlers once worn. The rear won't last long

I admit to not having a clue about tyres,I think the bt016s on my monster are cutting edge

There diablo supercorsa most probably sp compound if on a road bike. But could be sc1,2 scrubs which are just softer compounds of the same tyre for track days / racing.

First someone mentioned Maxxis tyres and then BT016's.

If the bike has done 9000 miles it will have had at least one new set of tyres and probably two sets of those Supercorsas.

Those will be fine on a nice dry day, very much less so in the wet.

It's has monstrous torque and feels bloody quick 60 -100 + I think I am going to have to recalibrate my brain for it

You can tell the date of manufacture of motorcycle tyres from the info on the tyre wall.

Nice bike Perkles. As for the tyres I agree witg duke. Don't trust them! Lol! They take a lot of warming up.

If you wanna stick with Pirellis but a more road orientated version I dont think you can go wrong with diablo rosso corsas, had 2 lots of these on my bike and love them, brilliant in the dry, quick warm up, endless grip and not too shabby in the wet, not the most grip ever but they give loads of feedback so I know how close im pushing my luck.

I think so it was a couple of years ago. More rideable in town and I don't need a 170 plus mph top speed tbh. Definitely a new renthal on the back anyway.

Nice bike buddy!!! You'll love it I'm sure. I'll leave it to the guys re the tyres. Yet you can't go wrong with pirellis they give you a lot of feedback IMO.

so to confirm the tyres are pirelli dragon supercorsa pros, just looked at all the old invoices that came with documentation and the rear was 239 quid ! I thought that was for two but no its just the rear.Things have really changed since I last had a bike

The Diablo Rosso Corsa are about that for front and rear if you shop around mate and plenty sporty enough for me
