It's chintzy-looking.
And the 2005 looks better....it has a rear
swingarm that's a work of art. That thing looks like it was designed by Corgi.
While the folks at Corgi were plastered.

I think my mountain bike has those wheels.

Presumably the increased regulations will result in this being heavier & slower than the 2005 version.?

Unless the performance is spectacular (which seems unlikely) this should give a real boost to the Aprilia Tuono 660 sales.

In that picture the only thing new are front fairings and wheels.

Absolutely everything looks like 2005. Thats disappointing. Hopefully they've put a soft moto2 engine in it.

I imagine that in road trim it is not going to be anything to write home about , however much like the latest R6 once it has a race exhaust and ecu it should be an improvement on the old one in race trim , if it isn't you have to ask the question "what's the point ? " .

I read a semi in depth write up about this the other day, it's just a re-skinned 2005 model CBR.

It won't be coming to Europe because it doesn't conform to EU5. The engine is the same as before.

The thing with the CBR is this.. in stock or even superstock trim it isn't fast enough to win races. That being said, if I was going to recommend a dependable track bike to somebody that would be my first suggestion.
