Broke a minute solve on the cube.

Hadn’t even picked the cube up for nearly a month, but flying up to Darwin yesterday I had a bit of a run on the flight. Did about 10-15 mins of solves just to get my head back into it and re-learn a few algorithms I’d forgotten.

Have an app that gives you scramble algorithms, then times your solve. I did 10 in a row. More impressed with my average than the sub 1 min solve tbh.

Started experimenting with airbrush. Funding it much harder than it looks. Although I was practicing with a cheap airbrush. Will try my brand one when an adapter for it turns up.

They look very cool!!
I can see buying two or even three of the same kits to make up a diorama, but you've got a ton of similar types....are you a wargamer or something??

Yep. But got into it from modelling as a kid. Used to spend time making these models, and then do nothing with them. Then got a dungeon board game called hero quest when I was about 10, which introduced me to gaming with the models I'd made and painted.

D6 very impressive - love that board, going to be excellent when complete. Keep us updated with your progress. I personally would love to see it.

As for an airbrush I agree it's a lot more tricky than people make it look! What airbrush you got or getting?

I have a sotar 20/20 which is meant to be good just waiting an adapter so I can use it as apparently Badger (who make it) use unique fittings. The other 2 are cheap ones that came with the compressor. They are OK for base coating or doing large areas

I've heard of the Sotar brush from american scale model makers, seems decent to be fair. Badger defo know what they are doing so shouldn't be any issues. Let us know what you think, I'd be interested to hear

It reminds me of the RAF Angel Interceptor I've seen on the web.... some modelling site or other.
