It's not like I'm against paying higher taxes but I want to see benefits to these increases, I don't want to pay for other peoples cock ups.... deliberate or otherwise.

This pandemic has presented the perfect opportunity for any self serving politicians in power to cream off huge sums of (our) taxpayers money into the pockets of their choice..

There is so much smokescreen, fear & paranoia being whipped up that they can get away with almost anything.
