:? Class leader..:
My D675 spec's say she's 161kg & 124bhp (110 at the rear wheel).?

(Obviously mine's actually lighter & more powerful because of the mod's I've done)

I thought Triumph claimed the dry weight at 167kg?

https://www.triumphmotorcycles.co.uk/mo ... cification" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The 675 has the benefit of not being Euro 5 compliant and doesn't have to carry the electronics of more modern bikes.

Also the 660 is not in the same class as the ZX6R / D675 / R6.. it's the next class down yet it's producing more power than a 98 CBR600 (y)

100% class leader and if the engine is reliable it's going to dominate

That's the spec' for those lardy last edition ones mate, but thanks for the mitigation for their claims.

You are right of course. It needs to be £11k or less imo..

I reckon it'll be around £13-14k

Im sure your right but Aprilia are not a premium manufacturer imo. Too rich considering the competition at those levels.

If it was under £10k... absolute bargain and easily going to take it to Triumph on sales.

Under £13k.... probably going to sell a lot of them and most likely price IMO.

Over £13k.... probably just for racers as any road user would just get the Striple instead.

I don't thing Street triple riders are in the same market and it's too expensive for most racers.

It's pretty much a stand alone bike imo. It's not up against the zx6r or R6. They're both proper jap IL4 screamers.

It's a super model version of a mini twin. That's how I see it.

Absolutely isn't in the same class as the supersports - it's against the Ninja 650 and Honda CBR650R - and it's going to dominate. That's why it's going to be bought by the racers who can afford it.

Definitely a supertwin as stock

It's got a massive power advantage over those two bikes. Imagine the weight savings as well putting it into race trim.

That's why I query the reliability. It will absolutely dominate the class based on power alone and we all know Aprilia make amazing handling machinery.

They've taken engine design from the front bank of cylinders on the RSV4 1100 and must have stroked and bored it. That's how they've achieved the power and fair play to them.

I didn't realise it had the Bosch IMU... I'm thinking 12-14k

Just under 10,000 euros.
