I might be thinking in Euros... I paid €8900 for mine.Kwacky wrote:I had it in my head that the R was about £9,300 and the RS about £10,300.

Re: New Street Triple
The RS was £1000 more than the R when I bought mine. The RS is still £10300 I think.

Re: New Street Triple
Interestingly they have dropped the TFT screen from the R. The screen is fantastic so i'm glad i got mine when i did!

Re: New Street Triple
Thats how they got it back to £8900 i reckon.Kwacky wrote:I guess they've done that to save money
It means none of the modes are customisable, plus you cant do navigation. The clocks just look so old and have been on Triumphs for years now.

Re: New Street Triple
It seems an odd model to have in the line up now that the new RS has the same midrange, unless the R is now slightly detuned.

Re: New Street Triple
I suppose there's some old stock they needed to use. It does seem a bit odd though. Unless you can upgrade to the new screen for say £400

Re: New Street Triple
Yeah - odd. You almost don't need it in the range now.
Still no cruise control though.
It is the Porsche 911 of the Triumph range though - never significantly changes, just evolves.

You could spend 10x the amount of money on a motorbike and not have more fun than you would on these.

And there it is, the simple beauty of motorcycling, big fat capital letters, FUN
Could be a super naked, retro, crusier, supersport, adventure or anything in between. Motorcycling should be FUN
