Nice one Cav, nice to be in work with security of a regular wage coming in. I always hate the interview stages of a new job, well I used to, until I took the attitude, take me as I am, if you don't like me or I don't fit nothing will change that.

As with sales, people buy people, everyone interviewing should have the cv to do the job, now who are you.

Happy days mate, now time to spend on bike bling, don't tell the missus lol.

Thanks everyone, the stress has pretty much just disappeared and I'm excited to start now.

Haha, Frankie.. no real bling (although I did get new rearsets that were needed as mine were bendier than a bendy thing). BUT..... I have the remainder of this week to determine if I will take my bike over to MSS for an ECU tune and suspension service. All in for £750 - it's very tempting!

Talking of which, are you looking to move at the moment Frankie? Might have a technical sales role coming up in your area.

No idea but it has to be the latter otherwise there's no point in me going back to work.

I have not planned to at present, but I would never say never if that challenging role came up, always happy to listen and see what's on offer.
Let me know mate and we can talk :)

Work called. I had a chat with HR and the head of department.

I'm brief they want be to go back to work (when I'm ready) and to carry on working for the same person.

They have put a plan in place, but it's all stuff for me to do and it changes nothing. They want me to give the plan a go. I've been told they're are no other roles available they can offer me, which is bollocks.

So I'm going to stay to look for another job.

I've not kicked off or caused a scene. I thanked them for their time and support. I've had my say and its got me nowhere so if I'm going to leave I want to look like I'm the good guy.

It's a shame, but I think it is time to move on. You've been saying your not 100% happy for a while now.

Good plan keeping it amicable, makes it very hard for them to give anything other than a positive reference.

Onwards and upwards.

Exactly what Nutz said.

Every time I've moved on it's been a positive experience despite my apprehensions so I'm sure you will be selective with the next role and this will be a positive move in the long run(y)
