The younger generations will.

They hope to be here for the next 60-70 years, our lifespan is far shorter. They have a much bigger vested interest in making sure they live for a long time.

At some point they will be the majority.

It was interesting that Mark Carney of the BoE questioned whether pensions funds should be investing in companies who benefit from the use of fossil fuels. He intimated it was not in their own financial interests long term.

The dividend payments are though.

Regards the younger generation. Maybe but the change needs to be on a large scale, not just isolated towns, where insignificant gains will be achieved but many families inconvenienced and heavily taxed for the demonstration and political gesture that is being made.

Dont get me wrong I'm not about saying NO to change but it has to be on a meaningful scale and fair to everyone imo.

Three major cities in a few years strikes me that people do want change.

Birmingham introduces its Cleaner Air Zone in July.

But in Cities and Towns its about Clean Air not climate change. We are killing ourselves by breathing in the shit the ICE produces.

I am surrounded by people with cancer and i suspect the ICE is a big part of that.

Australia has just recorded its hottest and driest year for 2019. That is the first time those titles have happened simultaneously.

Sorry for illustrating my stupidity so overtly, but what do you mean by ICE please.?

ICE - Melting Icecaps releasing methane
ICE- Institute of Civil Engineers, construction with all it's associated impacts
ICE- In Car Entertainment, allowing chavs in their BMWs to pollute the environment with their tastless musical droning beats,,,
Etc etc etc :?

That's great news. Maybe they should put lead back in paint and start using asbestos again?

It's not like anyone is forced to buy one, is it??
I don't hear anyone clamoring for electric bikes yet.
But lemme guess..."that's different!"??

10 EU countries want, not just the sale of ICE cars stopped by 2030 but also the manufacture of them.

Those look like an old X-Type Jag to me. Which in turn looked like a Matchbox version of a real Jag.
