It's a 4 part docu-drama based on true events. Several teens are caught up in a police investigation concerning a serious rape and attempted murder of a jogger in Central Park

The boys are 14 and 15 and facing a New York police force that's desperate to find the offenders and a public prosecutor who wants people sent to prison .

I don't want to give too much away, but the only person who has spoken out about the TV show is Linda Fairstein, a New York City prosecutor who says that they got the right people, even if they didn't commit the actual crime, they committed crimes at that time.

Imho that looks like it could have been taken directly from one of the original 90's Law & Order episodes ( you know, back when Jerry Orbach was in it & they chose to play with emotive & legally frustrating scenarios )

I'm surprised at the results, but I think the jury wanted to see someone punished for the life changing injuries the victim sustained.

What about "New York City prosecutor who says that they got the right people, "

Linda Fairstein? I think she's full of shit. She wanted someone in prison and didn't care who it was. They knew there were black kids up to no good in the park so she wanted some black kids sent away.

Good (y) I was getting the wrong end of the stick

This made me think you may have believed the opposite.

"I don't want to give too much away, but the only person who has spoken out about the TV show is Linda Fairstein, a New York City prosecutor who says that they got the right people, even if they didn't commit the actual crime, they committed crimes at that time."

Plus there's an Oprah special where she interviews the cast and the 5 men jailed. That's not online yet.
